Willie's Picnic was great
The best acts were Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Margo Price, Sheryl Crow and Ray Wylie Hubbard, but all were very good. Started at noon and finished around 1:00 AM, so it is a marathon. Austin is pretty hot, but a lot of water handles that. Every act had great sound and energy with booming voices. Music was wonderful. At this venue, I would recommend 10th row as the closest row to buy. Only negative was the seating. Paid high dollars for 2nd row seats, but at this venue there is 15 yards between the 1st row and the stage, and they allow "pit" attendance for a much cheaper price and everyone in the pit stands in front of your seats. Makes it difficult to see.
